What does NASSIT do?

The object of the Trust is to provide retirement and other benefits to meet the contingency needs of workers and their dependants

To achieve this, the Trust undertakes the following specific duties:

  1. Register all employers and issue them with individual Employment Registration Numbers
  2. Register all members and issue them each with a Social Security Number
  3. Collect contribution of members and compile relevant data relating to the contributions
  4. Maintain and update personal and financial records on the members
  5. Process and pay benefit to members as they fall due
  6. Manage and invest the social security funds
