For National Contractors, the minimum criteria include registration with the Ministry of Works, Housing and Technical Maintenance with Financial Premier Status: evidence of legal status including tax clearance, annual registration license and evidence of NASSIT Compliance certificate.

Foreign based Contractors wishing to participate should be qualified for similar projects in their countries of operations.

The pre-qualification forms will include information on the general status of the company, experience, financial capabilities, personnel capabilities and equipment capabilities.

INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NASSIT'S HEAD OFFICE (" PENSION TOWER") AT GOVERNMENT WARF, FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE

In a bid to effectively enhance its operations throughout Sierra Leone, the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) intends to construct a multi-storey building (minimum 16 floors) and a three-floor car park building at Government Wharf, Freetown.

It is the intention of NASSIT to pre-qualify eligible Contractors who shall eventually participate in International Competitive Bidding (ICB).

Contractors wishing to participate in the bidding for the Pension Tower Project will be required to pre-qualify, for which this advert is issued.

Pre-qualification will be conducted through pre-qualification procedures as specified in the National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA) guidelines.
