The functions of this
department are:

Leads, develop and
manage the organisation’s human resources

Set strategic vision
and direct its implementation

Direct the performance
management system, reward and remuneration policies to attract
retain and motivate employees.

Identify training
needs, design and organise a comprehensive training programme for
staff
-
Provide leadership on
human resource issues

Monitor standards and
design guides and manuals
Administration and Facilities
This
department is responsible for general services, purchases and providing
logistics to ensure that staff work in the right atmosphere and have the
necessary tools for efficient performance. It will also cater for
general staff welfare.
Terms of Reference
The
functions of this department are:
Purchasing of goods and services

Acquisition of proforma invoices as per requisitions

Procurement of goods and services
-
Coordinating and supervising the Trust’s tender process
Management of Vehicle Fleet
Management of stores and supplies
-
Clearing of goods
-
Reception and storage of goods supplied
-
Supply of materials, consumables and equipments
-
Maintenance of stores and supplies records
Maintenance of Premises, Facilities and Equipment
-
Arranging the installation of facilities and equipments, additions,
modifications etc. to existing infrastructure
-
Management of installation, repairs and payment of utilities –
telephone, electricity, water
-
Maintenance of all equipments except IT
-
Supervision of Office Assistants
-
Upkeep and cleaning of premises
-
Maintenance of generators
-
Undertake space audits and optimize utilization of space
-
Ensuring proper functioning of safety devices and or equipments.
Insurance
and License
-
Registration and Licensing of vehicles
-
Insurance of vehicles and company assets through the Trust’s Brokers
-
Insurance of assets and staff as provided by the Trust’s policies.
Management of correspondence
-
Management of the Trust’s registry/mailroom
-
Reception of all outgoing correspondence from all departments and
locations and their distribution
-
Supervision of dispatch riders
-
Postage and collection of mail sent through the Postal Services
-
Handling and processing of all incoming mail
-
Ensuring the proper maintenance of the Trust’s filing/documentation
system
Management of fixed assets
Logistics
-
Responsible for the movement of personnel, furniture, equipments and
supplies
-
Provision and supervision of security for Trust’s premises
equipments
